Marketing Your Property

Presentation is everything.

Below is a checklist of items that will help to improve the presentation of your property when putting it on the market:

  • Ensure the lawns and gardens are maintained regularly
  • Whilst you do not have to hire a cleaner, it is best to keep your property free from clutter as well as neat and tidy at all times for inspections and open houses (first impressions do count)
  • Open curtains and blinds to allow the natural light to shine through (or if you have a dark room, leave a light on)
  • Keep the property cool during summer and warm during winter (ie air conditioning/fans)
  • It can be beneficial to have an air freshener plugged in or candles (if attended) to remove any pet odours, smoke or cooking smells

Your agent will be happy to discuss any other small maintenance items that may improve the appearance of your property to buyers in order to get the best possible sale price. This may include; painting, maintenance of doors or windows, new lights/bulbs, working appliances etc.
